Celebrate Alma's 150th Birthday at the Town of Alma Holiday Gathering!
Join us for a festive celebration as the Town of Alma rings in its 150th birthday on Saturday, December 16, 2023! This milestone event promises a day filled with holiday cheer, fun activities, and community spirit.
Event Highlights:
- Ornament Making and Cookie Decorating: Get creative with ornament making from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Stone Church Community Building. Continue the fun with cookie decorating from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Town Hall.
- Santa’s Parade: Watch Santa parade down Main Street at 4:00 PM, arriving at Town Hall to give gifts and spread holiday joy.
- Live Music: Enjoy a special performance by South Park’s School of Rok on stage during Santa’s gift-giving.
- Potluck Feast: Join us for a delicious potluck featuring soups, salads, and breads at 5:00 PM in the North Room of Town Hall.
- Bonfire and S’mores: Warm up with a bonfire, s’mores, and hot chocolate on the beach at 6:00 PM.
- Ornament Making and Cookie Decorating: Get creative with ornament making from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Stone Church Community Building. Continue the fun with cookie decorating from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Town Hall.
Community Participation: Please bring a Christmas ornament with your name and the year to hang in Town Hall. This tradition ensures that Alma will always remember you during the holidays!
